InnerVoice is a performance troupe interpreting reflections of the soul to promote wisdom, healing and appreciation of the interconnected nature of Life.

In practice, we build theatrical concerts around a theme, drawing from many, seemingly disparate, sources, including original material, to present varying points of view.  We hope to broaden perspective on the chosen subject in order to strengthen connections and deepen the human experience.

The material presented includes:  music from classical, jazz, pop & theatre traditions, poetry, monologues and short scenes, magic, stories, dance and works of art; it is a cabaret in the truest sense.

Programmes can be serious or light, but usually contain a mix of both.  We have performed in coffee houses, restaurants, theatres and churches, and we take the location into consideration when planning a programme.

Some of the themes include:  transformation, birthdays and growing older, life and death cycles, joy, money, coffee, gratitude, spirituality, food, love, sex, nature, grief, grace, greed, freedom, letting-go, abundance, justice, the seasons, travel, fear, solitude, home, the AfterLife, courage, dignity, surrender, authenticity, acceptance, relationship, compassion, respect …

We consider a concert successful if we have reached someone, encouraged someone to pause, reflect, consider a position, smile, laugh, cry, or in any way feel a little more deeply and be aware of those feelings and the world around them.
