InnerVoice presents...
Compassionate Heart
Through stories, songs and poetry, this
varied cast of actors and musicians creates a unique presentation on
the subject of compassion and how it relates to love, life, and
breaking our hearts open to experience universal oneness.
Source material includes Thich Nhat Hanh,
Mary Oliver, William Shakespeare, Walt Whitman and Molly Ivins, and
the music crosses the spectrum from classical to Cole Porter to
Native American-style drumming.

InnerVoice
is a performance troupe interpreting reflections of the soul to promote
wisdom, healing and appreciation of the interconnected nature of Life.
In
practice, we build theatrical concerts around a theme, drawing from
many, seemingly disparate, sources, including original material, to
present varying points of view.
We hope to broaden perspective on the chosen subject in order to
strengthen connections and deepen the human experience
(and have fun, too!)

"To see these three performers change before your eyes to become people from different times, different countries, different walks of life, each addressing in some way his or her memories of, or feelings about, home is remarkable -- and deeply touching.
And, of course, the music is wonderful. Hope you can make it!"
